Quick setup
-
On the Amiga: unpack
AmiStudio-0.1.10.lhasomewhere convenient (for exampleSYS:AmiStudio) and open the AmiStudio drawer. - Turn beta mode on: open Settings and enable Show beta apps. Current releases are betas; without this the list stays empty or grey.
- Install apps: click each icon to install. For AmiSurf, AmiDiscord and AmiDrive the launcher will also set up the AmiStudio Host under AmiKit (Linux x86_64, Rabbit Hole).
- Host-backed apps: need AmiKit on Amiberry on Linux x86-64. The Host does not support Windows, macOS, Pi, WinUAE, or real Amigas for those features in this beta.
-
Google Drive: install AmiDrive, then sign in (it opens Google’s page in AmiSurf).
Your Drive appears at
AmiStudio/Google Drive. The PC needsfuse3. During the beta only invited Google test accounts can sign in.
Requirements (Amiga): 68020+ with FPU, OS 3.1+, MUI 3.8+, TCP/IP, AmiSSL 5.
Hand install: you can still grab individual
.lha files and the Host tarball from
Releases
if you prefer not to use the launcher.
